After the challenges of the pandemic, we are thrilled to host this retreat, which hasn't happened for five years! Sister Kinh Nghiem, who generously shared Dharma talks, practices, and relaxation online throughout the pandemic, will now provide a precious opportunity to deepen mindfulness and healing in person. Whether you are new to mindfulness or seasoned practitioners, everyone is welcome!
Sister Kinh Nghiem, deeply inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh, ordained at the age of 14 as his first Baby Monk/Nun, now serves as a seasoned Dharma teacher, touching lives worldwide. She embodies warmth, childlike innocence, unwavering stability, and wisdom as a seeker on the Zen path, making her an incredibly compelling teacher. You can find more about her detailed profile here.

"We need to stop and rest to allow our wounds to heal. We have to practice resting by focusing on our in-breath. This practice can be used in four positions of the body: sitting, walking, standing, or lying down. We focus on our in- breath and say to ourselves: I have arrived/ I am home/ I don’t need to run anymore. " Thich Nhat Hanh
"…Instead of being imprisoned by this fear of suffering will come, you can say: Hello suffering, I see you and I got you. I hold you in my alms, and we can breathe together again. So, we don’t have to illuminate, clean and get rid of. Because they are pretty much a part of you, just like the darkness and the light." Sr. Kinh Nghiem
"You carry Mother Earth within you, She is not outside of you. Mother Earth is not just your environment. In that insight of inter-being, it is possible to have real communication with the Earth, which is the highest form of prayer. In that kind of relationship you have enough love, strength and awakening in order to change your life." Thich Nhat Hanh
